![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The incredibly asinine practice of removing links to older firmware versions ( probably copied from Apple's tactics) is becoming alarmingly widespread in the music gear world and needs to be killed. (that and the fact that it seems it has undergone an extensive amount of testing and tweaking up to this point). That's one of the reasons I had no problems pre-ordering it. I didn't even go into the various menu options that could use some clarification.Īgain - I think it's a huge positive step that the Xerxes will have a manual available from the start. I know how to to the PWM on Kijimi because I had to ask and someone pointed out on FB that you have to set the waveform to the full clockwise position to start with the square wave, but my point is that I shouldn't have to ask basic stuff like that. I was more concerned with multiple users reporting the same bug(s) or requesting the same features due to the difficulty of keeping info like that grouped and easily seen on Facebook, that's all. You are right about the "and status" part. ![]() I haven't played with Kijimi enough to give you a precise information on this, but I'll find out more. But I think it's the same thing if you modulate the waveform knob and keep it in the middle of the pw range. There is also a special area at fully counter-clockwise position where the pulse width can be modulated. It starts with a triangle and it morphs to saw to double-saw to a pulse with various widths as you turn the knob. Can you list an example where a polysynth manufacturer has a list of bugs and feature requests and their status available to the public?Ībout pulse width in Kijimi, (and this is from my perspective as a user) PW is part of the waveform sweep. There are changelogs on released firmware but that's different. From what I've seen, these are usually kept track internally. In some other companies I've seen company-hosted forums, discussion groups, and community areas where people can discuss such things, but I haven't seen official support areas listing these items for a product. What's the current feature request list and what it's status? What's the current list of bugs and what's their status? ![]()
